Book An Appointment

You can pre-book an appointment either:

- In person, by coming to the surgery
- By telephone on 0208 671 3448
- Using Patient Access, You must first register to use this service.

If you need to be seen urgently, you can book one of the ‘on the day’ appointments that are released every day at 8am. To do so, you need to call the surgery or come in at 8am to secure your appointment.

Once the urgent slots are filled you will be put on the duty doctor’s list and receive a call back.

If you have booked a telephone consultation of any kind you must ensure you are available when the doctor calls. It is not possible to call back repeatedly and you may be asked to re-book.

Routine appointments with a doctor are for 10 minutes. You may be asked to book another appointment if you have several issues to discuss. Nurse and health care assistant appointments are generally for 15 minutes.

If you need an interpreter, please let the receptionist know and we will arrange a telephone interpreter for your consultation. Please also let reception know if you have any other communication difficulties and we will do our best to help.

You have a right to express a preference regarding the health professional you see. Please make your preference known at reception when booking your appointment.

If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as soon as possible. Missed appointments are an increasing problem and cause delays in treatment for other patients. The doctors and nurses do their best not to keep you waiting but we thank you for being patient when this is inevitable. It helps the system to run more smoothly if you arrive promptly for your appointment and let the receptionists know or use the self-check-in machine as soon as you arrive.
